Local-first by default
TimeThreads stores your recordings on-device by default. We only upload media when you choose to share a story.
What we collect
We collect information needed to run TimeThreads, including story metadata, transcript text when processed, media storage paths, profile display names, and abuse reports.
Safety processing
We process user-generated text and selected media previews for moderation and abuse prevention. Reported or flagged content may be reviewed by moderators.
Sharing links
Private share links are token-based and can be revoked. Shared media is delivered with short-lived signed URLs.
Data deletion
You can delete local stories at any time. For cloud deletion requests, contact us at support@timethreads.app.
No sale of personal data
We do not sell your personal data.
